| September Committee Meeting October 1, 2009 - Posted by Mari On September 30th, the committee held its monthly meeting to discuss the current plans and updates of the GSJCQ Scholarship Program. *A 2010 venue is currently on hold - Seattle Art Museum in downtown Seattle. *Active recruitment for 2010 - 2011 candidates is underway. Applications must be postmarked by Monday, Nov. 30th for consideration. The 2009 Royal Court is hosting a Queen's Tea for interested and potential candidates on Saturday, Oct. 10th. Please refer to the Events Calendar for more information. *The Board is in need of a secretary. If you are interested or would like more information on what this job entails, please feel free to contact us. *The Board and Committee would like to emphasize the Queen Committee as an open group that welcomes interested parties.
